With the rapid development of the mobile phone industry, It is expected that the difference will continue to widen.

According to the data report, in 2010, TV screen revenue was more than four times that of mobile phone screens. In 2010-2016, mobile phone screen sales increased at an average annual growth rate of 17%, compared with TV screen sales. The amount decreased by 8% per year. In 2017, the mobile phone screen sales revenue is expected to reach 46.56 billion U.S. dollars, the television screen revenue is 41.25 billion U.S. dollars, and the difference is as high as 5 billion U.S. dollars. Mobile phone screen revenue will surpass the television screen for the first time, replacing the leading position of the TV screen.

Data company said that this change is mainly related to the emergence of smart phones and its ultra-high-definition screen panel. In 2007, Apple Computer and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. launched their mobile phone image screens in 2010.
